O total de casos de covid-19, no Brasil, desde o início da pandemia, chegou a 27.479.963, com o acréscimo de 54.220 novos diagnósticos registrados em 24 horas. A informação consta do boletim epidemiológico do Ministério da Saúde, divulgado todos os dias.

O documento informa 314 mortes em 24 horas. Desde o início da pandemia, as mortes em decorrência da doença chegaram a 638.362. Existem 3.160 óbitos por síndrome respiratória aguda grave (SRAG) em investigação. Nesses casos, são necessários exames e procedimentos posteriores para determinar se a causa da morte foi covid-19.

Atualmente, 86,5% do total de infectados são considerados livres de sintomas. Essa taxa chegou a 96,2% em dezembro, antes da chegada da Ômicron ao Brasil. O total de casos ativos e em acompanhamento é 3.058.158 (11,1%).

O ranking de estados com mais mortes pela covid-19 é liderado por São Paulo (161.489), Rio de Janeiro (70.839) e Minas Gerais (58.459). As unidades da federação com menos óbitos são Acre (1.923), Amapá (2.078) e Roraima (2.114). (AgBr)
